When you are Offline on the chat, your visitors can send you an email message.
How to manage where the messages are sent to in the offline mode?
For this you go to the FrescoChat Control Panel, and click the menu Account Settings.
Also, you can enter or change the email address where the chat transcripts are sent to.
Update, november 2013:
- From now on you will also receive email notifications about missed chats: When a live chat request times out, the admin receives an email with the pre-chat data, similar to the emails you receive with offline messages. From now on you will be notified about live chats you missed, by an email with subject “missed chat”.
- Both offline message emails and missed chat emails, have more info about the visitor: URL, Country, City.
